Jim is the former Chief Procurement Officer for the State of Michigan, serving from 2017 until 2021. He spearheaded one of the largest procurement transformation initiatives in the country, and placed Michigan in the #1 position for state procurement as recognized by the Governing Institute in 2019. He has a wealth of information that can assist you in all facets of public and private sector procurement.
During his time at the State, he saw a significant need help connect companies large and small, Minority and Women Owned businesses, Veteran and Disabled Veteran owned businesses and more, across multiple verticals (IT, Commodities, and Services) to state and local governments.
Armed with his experience as a former CPO and Director at the County level, he is ready to intersect his expertise in the public and private sectors with your procurement needs as a current or potential supplier.
